About International Patients' Unit
It s a personalized, integral and bilingual service, in charge of coordinating and organizing medical attention for international patients who would like to be treated at the Clinic, either expatriates living in Chile for a longer period of time, patients looking for a second medical opinion, or just passing through Chile for different reasons such as vacations, holidays, work, studies, etc.
This is a coordination service that does not have associated costs, and is responsible for organizing and coordinating your attention before, during and after your stay at Clínica Las Condes, either for outpatients and inpatiens (hospitalized patients) also.
Our services for inpatients include
- Integral, personalized, and bilingual care (spanish/english).
- Coordination with International Health Insurance Companies if needed; guaranty of payment letters.

Our main goal is to provide care service to foreign patients according to their needs, giving them an efficient, fast and also warm and friendly attention.

The patient contacts us via email at

The medical history and information the patient sends us is evaluated with a specialized doctor from the corresponding unit, and if needed, the patient will be asked to send medical reports, lab exams, tests results, and/or images, depending on the case.

The patient will receive a reply with the doctor’s suggestions and recommendations, as well as exams, procedures, hospitalization or surgery fees and estimated costs, depending on each case.

If the patient decides to come, the coordination is planned and organized at the Clinic: we schedule appointments, tests, procedures, surgery, hospitalization or transfer, according to the patient’s needs and requests. The patient will receive an email with details of coordinated appointments as well as general instructions: day, place and hour of admission to the Clinic, and list of scheduled appointments and tests. Further, if the patient so requires, a list of hotels with preferential rates is sent, so that he may contact for availability and rates.

We receive the patient at the Clinic, and give assistance during the whole attention process.
Bill and Insurance
At the moment of the appointment, the Center’s Coordinator will send you an email with the approximated budget, these contains the treatments needed and the safeguard to be deposit before all medical treatment.
At the moment you arrive to Clínica Las Condes, a coordinator´s nurse will transfer you to Admission Service; a safeguard deposit could be made in US dollars if you want. At the end of your medical treatment, the bill will be handed to you and could be paid with the safeguard posted before. This bill contains the exams and procedures details in total.
